The National Medical College (“N.M.C”), founde The National Medical College (“N.M.C”), founded one hundred years ago today on 4 August 1921 at 2nd Victoria Cross Lane, Byculla, by Drs D.D. Sathaye, R.H. Bhadkamkar and A.P. Kothare during the Non-Cooperation Movement as Mumbai’s first Indian-run medical school, today the Topiwala National Medical College (TNMC) & Bai Yamunabai L. Nair Charitable Hospital
